Programmes and funding
Funding for partnerships under Connecting Classrooms is currently under review. We will be announcing our new offer to schools in the near future. In the meantime there are plenty of resources on this site to help you to develop your partnership. Or you can take advantage of some of the funding offers from our other programmes.
If your recent application is approved, our dedicated resources page can provide you with continued support. We offer guidance on how to plan your visit, achieve a sustainable partnership and complete the activity report.
If your secondary school has an existing partnership with a school in France, you can jointly apply for funding to receive up to £10,000 each through the Charles de Gaulle and Lefèvre programmes. The funding is for individual and group visits to the partner school for 11- to 19-year-olds.
To see how applying for funding fits into your journey with the British Council see our Guide to International Learning.
