Great American Smokeout Comes to UAA

The Student Health Center provided an informational display in the Student Union on Thursday, November 18, to help promote the Great American Smokeout.

This annual event encourages smokers to quit smoking for at least one day. Information was provided about quitting smoking, the costs of smoking, adopting a smoker for the day, second hand smoke, and programs available in Alaska to help smokers stop smoking.

Mr. Butt was on hand to give out information to the UAA Community.
