Give the Gift of Warmth
By: John Callahan Dec 6, 2004
Remember that sweater Aunt Gertie gave you, the one you never seem to get around to wearing?
Most of us have clothes we never wear stuffed into our dressers or lurking in the back of our closets. Help those good clothes find good homes by donating them to a clothing drive staged by the University Honors Program and the University Honors Student Advisory Board.
The drive, which runs through December 10, collects articles of clothing and donates them to local women's shelters and other non-profit agencies.
From there, the clothing finds it way to those truly in need during this holiday season. Donated clothing items should be clean and in good condition.
Donations may be dropped at the Honors Program office (BEB 119) or on the 4th floor of East Hall. Give the gift of warmth this season. For more information contact the Honors Program office.
