Tanaina Fun Event and Fundraiser

Amanda Kerr, nationally noted fiddle player and Tanaina graduate, along with her talented musician and juggler father, Jim Kerr, will perform at Tanaina's annual fund raiser event on Sept. 30, at 6 p.m. in the Student Union.

Amanda is the winner of the 2004 National Old-time Fiddle Contest Junior (under 18) division; winner of the Alaska State Fair undefined
contest in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003; member of the Irish Dance Company of Alaska; member of the Emeralds; a fiddle teacher; and a UAA student in Education. Besides great music, there will be dancing, door prizes, a children’s art auction and a barbeque dinner with reindeer sausage provided by Indian Valley meats.

Suggested donation is $25 in advance at Tanaina or at the door.
