ANSEP receives generous gift from Alyeska Pipeline Service Company

Alyeska Pipeline Company Presents Gift to ANSEP

During a ceremony in the Engineering Building on Friday, September 30 David Wight, President and Chief Executive Officer of Alyeska Pipeline Service Company, presented a $100,000 check to the Alaska Native Science and Engineering Program (ANSEP). Chancellor Elaine Maimon and Dr. Herb Schroeder accepted the gift on behalf of the program. The $100,000 gift is the first of a $300,000 pledge to ANSEP from Alyeska Pipeline Service Company. ANSEP will use the gift to assist Alaska Native Students pursuing careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
