Collisions

All collisions on the University campus or in the Anchorage area must be reported to Campus Security (907) 786-4911 and UAA Risk Management (907) 786-1351 Trig immediately. If the collision happens outside the Anchorage area, contact the closets police agency and get a report number and the name of the responding officer and report these to Campus security and UAA Risk Management. If an injury is involved immediately call Campus Security, collect calls will be accepted.

In case of a collision:

• Stop immediately.
• Take required precautions to prevent further collisions at the scene.
• If injury is involved, call 911 or Campus Security (907) 786-4911. Collect calls will be accepted.
• Accident forms (Risk Management Checklist-blue booklet) and insurance information are located either in the visor pack or the glove compartment of each University vehicle. Accident forms must be filled out completely!
• Notify Shoobi Schubauer at the Motor Pool Office of the collision.
• Bring the vehicle to the Vehicle and Equipment Repair Shop for inspection, estimate of damage, and repair.

Theft

• Notify Campus Security or the nearest police agency (if outside the Anchorage area) to file a police report. Ensure you obtain the name of the police department and the report number for the police report.
• Notify Shoobi Schubauer at the Motor Pool Office. Every effort will be made to provide the department with a replacement vehicle.

Vandalism

• Graffiti, physical damage, and any other form of vandalism must be reported to Campus Security immediately or the nearest police agency (if outside the Anchorage area). Ensure you obtain the name of the police department and the report number for the police report.
• Notify Shoobi Schubauer as soon as possible to restore the vehicle.
