Gainful Employment Information

Many University of Alaska Anchorage Certificate and Occupational Endorsement Certificate programs are defined as Gainful Employment programs for the purposes of student financial aid. Valuable information about these programs including program cost, graduation rates, job placement rates, student loan debt, and other important information can be found by viewing the Gainful Employment forms located on the respective degree websites or by visiting the UAA Gainful Employment Disclosure website.

CTC Tuition Waiver Application Period Now Open

The Fall 2012 application period is now open and will close Friday, April 6 at 5 p.m. For more information on the application processes and eligibility requirements, see the Tuition Waivers webpage.

All scholarship and tuition waiver applicants must have a FAFSA on file with UAA. The FAFSA application period is open now and information is available on the UAA Financial Aid website. Get a jump start and get your FAFSA in today!

CTC Expands Effort to Re-engage Older Learners with Some College for Certificate and Degree Completion

For baby boomers who started college and began working toward a degree or certificate but didn't finish, community colleges are revving up an new grant-funded initiative that will help them reach their dreams. University of Alaska Anchorage Community & Technical College was among 11 colleges recently selected by the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) to participate in the Plus 50 Completion Strategy.
