Non-Traditional Students

Non-Traditional Students

Students are most often considered "non-traditional" because of their age when they enter college. A report recently released by the U.S. Education Department stated that only about 30% of today's undergraduates are "traditional" students who have a high school diploma, enroll full time right after high school and depend on parents for financial support.

Non Traditional Student Orientation

Students registered in courses who only competed a registration access form and have not yet been admitted to any program at UAA are considered Non-Degree Seeking students. These students are welcome to seek assistance from the Advising and Testing Center.
