Admission Requirements for Undergraduate Students

International Student   Same requirements as above, plus these:   
  1. TOEFL scores
  2. Proof of Financial support
  3. Statement of Educational Equivalency*****
  4. English translations of all documents

For the purposes of admissions, "international students" are those who will attend UAA as F-1 visa students. Please read the admission requirements for international students.

Individual programs may have additional requirements. Consult the UAA Catalog or contact the department directly before applying to the following programs:

  • Auto/Diesel Technology
  • Aviation Maintenance Technology
  • Dental Assisting
  • Dental Hygiene
  • Geomatics
  • Medical Assisting
  • Medical Laboratory Technology
  • Nursing
**    Non-graduates, please contact the Advising and Testing Center for special assessment and advising.    
***    High school graduates with GPAs between 2.0 and 2.49 will be required to meet with an Academic Advisor prior to registration.    
****   Transfer students with GPAs between 1.75 and 1.99 will be required to meet with an Academic Advisor prior to registration.   
*****   Must be from a recommended international credentials evaluation service.    

All transcripts and test results must be official copies submitted directly to UAA Enrollment Services by the originating schools or testing agencies. (Exception: test scores posted on official high school transcripts are acceptable.) Hand-carried documents are only considered official if they remain in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. If you’re still in school, send "in progress" transcripts now, and final transcripts when you finish.


Application Fees

  • Undergraduate: $40
  • Graduate: $45

Application Deadlines

  • Fall semester: July 1
  • Spring semester: November 1
  • Summer semester: May 1
