- All requested transcripts and test scores must be official and remain in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. Students do not need to request transcripts from any University of Alaska campus.
- Students who wish to transfer college-level course work from institutions outside the United States or Canada must submit:

- transcripts with English translations
- an official statement of educational equivalency from an international credentials evaluation service recognized by UAA.
- Submit a separate transcript and copy of English translation to the evaluation service.
- Transfer credit is not evaluated until the student is fully admitted and official foreign evaluation has been received.
Admission Requirements
Students with fewer than 30 college-level semester credits:
Qualifications (one of the following)
- Graduation from high school with GPA of at least 2.5 and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test (high school graduates with GPAs between 2.0 and 2.49 will be admitted on probation);or
- Successful completion of the GED, and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test.
- Admission application and $50 fee
- Final high school transcript showing graduation date or GED test scores
- ACT, SAT or a UAA-approved test
- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and universities
Qualifications (one of the following)
- Completion of at least 30 college-level semester credits with a GPA of at least 2.00 and high school diploma, GED, or completion of UAA's Ability to Benefit Process (transfer students with college GPAs between 1.75 and 1.99 will be admitted on probation); or
- Completion of at least 60 college-level semester credits with a GPA of at least 2.0.

- Official transcripts from all regionally accredited colleges and universities
