First-Time Students: Bachelor Degree Programs

  1. Review admission requirements below.
  2. Click the Apply for Admission link.
  3. Submit the required documents.
  • All requested transcripts and test scores must be official and remain in an envelope sealed by the issuing institution. Students do not need to request transcripts from any University of Alaska campus.

Admission Requirements


Qualifications (one of the following)

  • Graduation from high school with GPA of at least 2.5 and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test (high school graduates with GPAs between 2.0 and 2.49 will be admitted on probation); or
  • Successful completion of the GED, and completion of either SAT, ACT or a UAA-approved test.
Required Admission Documents
  • Admission application and $50 fee
  • In-progress high school transcript when you apply
  • Final high school transcript showing graduation date or GED test scores
  • ACT, SAT or a UAA-approved test
