At the End of my Garden

This garden represents the poignant work carried out by Marie Curie Cancer Care in providing end of life care and support for terminally-ill patients.

The garden represents the patient’s return to a familiar scene with typical garden plants with a backdrop of woodland. The scene reflects the circle of life with decay, growth and the mechanisms that reflect the active workings of a garden such as a shed, compost bin and shredder. Stepping stones provide a route across the lawn and illustrate the journey to the end of the garden.
