An inspiring garden that is designed to educate visitors about butterfly-friendly plants as well as promoting the new butterfly exhibit at Chester Zoo opening this year.

All the plants have been selected to provide food or nectar and other features in the garden, such as a reclaimed brick wall with recesses, will benefit butterflies and act as hibernation sites. Tropical plants are planted in a wooden greenhouse at the end of the garden to allow exotic butterflies to lay their eggs or extract nectar.
