Life begins at …? When does it begin? From the birth and creation of a new garden? How many of us buy plants and trees to mark an event or milestone in our lives?
This garden has been designed and constructed by Russell Watkinson, who is celebrating his 40th birthday this month. Gardens are all about celebrations of life and looking forward to seasonal changes and growth, yet we can all have quiet moments of relaxation and reflection within our gardens. Russell’s ornate design of rustic bricks, granite cobbles and stone features demonstrates a traditional and popular style of garden that is still in demand today. Some of the materials used are over 100 years old. The movement of the water is calming, and softens the formal lines of the planting and the garden’s straight edges.
Throughout the show, Russell and his family are available to discuss any of your landscaping requirements. Russell has been constructing and designing gardens for over 20 years.
