Welcome to Honors at City

The two college-wide honors programs at City College (the Macaulay Honors College at The City College and the City College Honors Program) prepare eager, exceptional and imaginative students (mostly incoming freshmen) for a lifetime of learning. The heart of each program is a challenging general education curriculum with small classes taught by our best faculty.  Students receive individualized student services and access to exciting opportunities for internships and undergraduate research.

The Honors Center, a suite on the fourth floor of the NAC Building (Room 4/150), provides a place for honors students to study and meet in a supportive atmosphere, where the Honors staff is available to advise and assist.

The City College honors community fosters serious study, extracurricular engagement and civic responsibility, while not losing sight of the value of fun.
