WOU CJA & Student Media 5K/10K

Come and support the WOU Criminal Justice Association and get in an awesome workout! This race is also a benefit for the Student Media to go to New Orleans. We will have prizes from Road Id, Burgerville, Frozation and Yeasty Beasty. Also with possibilities to win other prizes. The race starts at 9 in the morning. There will be food and drinks before and after. If you are coming from out of town there will be parking at the site. The most important thing is the price: IT IS ONLY $15 (if you are a student show student ID card and get in for only $5). This Run is "partially timed" which isn't chip time so the timer gives you an estimated time you finish. This is for everyone to use. Walkers, strollers and dogs are allowed (dogs need to be on a leash). The course is flat with one slight hill at the beginning a(and middle for the 10kers). for the 10kers you do the course twice. All eligible PEBB members and dependents currently enrolled in a PEBB medical plan may receive a free flu shot at the worksite flu shot clinics. Dependents must be at least 9 years old. Dependents younger than 15 must have written consent from a parent or guardian. Pneumococcal vaccine will not be available at these clinics. Members and dependents must show the enrolled member's medical plan ID card and complete a short insurance form. Employees who are not covered by PEBB (temporaries, contract workers, etc.) may receive a flu shot for $30. Cash or check accepted. No credit cards. 8th Annual Native American Storytelling Festival

8th Annual Native American Storytelling Festival. This year's Northwest Indian Storytelling Festival is being held at PCC and NAYA in Portland, Oregon, and celebrates tribal storytelling in the Pacific Northwest. On Friday night, Roger Fernandes, Elaine Grinnell, Esther Stutzman, and Toby Joseph are featured. All day workshops Sat and Sun at NAYA are for Native participants. The Fri night event (PCC Cascade) and Sat night event (NAYA) are for general audiences.

Description: 8th Annual Native American Storytelling Festival. This year's Northwest Indian Storytelling Festival is being held at PCC and NAYA in Portland, Oregon, and celebrates tribal storytelling in the Pacific Northwest. On Friday night, Roger Fernandes, Elaine Grinnell, Esther Stutzman, and Toby Joseph are featured. All day workshops Sat and Sun at NAYA are for Native participants. The Fri night event (PCC Cascade) and Sat night event (NAYA) are for general audiences.
