New to Western Oregon University, and at the behest of students, we have developed policies and guidelines to support the creation of fraternities and sororities at WOU. Fraternities and sororities have shown to have a positive impact on student graduation rates, GPAs and connections to campus. WOU and the community benefits through philanthropy and additional school spirit!

Fraternity & Sorority Council

The governing body of fraternities and sororities on WOU's campus is the Fraternity and Sorority Council (FSC). This group will be working with policies, guidelines and support for our fledgling fraternity and sorority groups. Once WOU has at least two chapters in place, this council will begin to provide guidance and self-governance.
