Train-The-Trainer: WOU Safe Zone Committee offers an 10-hour training open to all members of the WOU community. Participants that complete this training are eligible to be a facilitator. Food will be provided both days!! RSVP is required firstname.lastname@example.org. Completing both dates below is required.

The Safe Zone training is a 120-150 minute program that is tailored to meet the needs of the participants, but also offers a core set of values and information. We organize the training into modules that the facilitators can use to address the group with. If you have specific feedback about any training session or module, contact your facilitator or e-mail us at email@example.com.
The WOU Safe Zone Committee can come to your organization and provide Safe Zone Ally training! We want more information from you so that we can tailor the program to meet your needs. Fill out our online intake form and the Safe Zone Committee will work with planning an event for you!

If you are interested in LGBTQ training that doesn't involve becoming an Ally, the Safe Zone Committee provides one-hour trainings on topics such as Coming Out As A College Student, the Power of Language, Trans* Identities and Lives, Hate Crimes, and many others. Watch for our Lunch & Learn series.
