Internet Setup:

  • Wireless:
    SSID: Wou-Secure
    Password: Ihadajadesaleatthelake.
  • Wired:
    Plug in the provided Ethernet cable into your computer and then into the Data jack on the wall.
  • NOTE: You will need your usename and password during registration (same one you use to get your email). You can find your username and set your password at http://www.wou.edu/accountlookup

    Details (PC):

    • 1. After connecting to Wireless or Wired (listed above), Open your browser. You will be automatically redirected to our network registration page.

    • Pawprint login
    • 2. Login using your Pawprint Username and password. If you forgot your username or need to reset your password go to Account lookup.

    • Download NAC
    • 3. On this screen you will be asked to download the Cisco NAC agent that is used to verify your computer meets all the requirments for accesing the WOU network.

    • Save Update.exe
    • 4. You will be asked to run or save this file depending on your browser. Select Run, or locate the downloaded file and start the install.

    • Run Update.exe
    • 5. You will be asked to confirm that you intended to install the application, click Run.

    • Installing Cisco NAC
    • 6. Please follow the on screen instructions to install the Cisco NAC application. This application is required.

    • Welcome to Cisco NAC
    • 7. Once you have installed the NAC agent it will automatically pop up asking for your login information.

    • Pawprint Login
    • 8. Enter your pawprint username and password and select the Remember me checkbox.

    • Success!
    • 9.Accept the EULA and be Successfully Logged in!

    • NOTE: Windows 8 users, you will need to run the NAC agent in Windows 7 compatibility mode. To do this exit the NAC Agent in the System tray next to your clock. Locate the NAC icon on your desktop. Right click the icon and select properties. Select the Capability tab at the top. Select to run this as a Windows 7 application. Then click ok and run the program by double clicking it on the desktop.

    • Success!
    • Set to Windows 7!

      Details (Mobile):

        Minimum Hardware Requirements:

        • Operating System: Windows Vista (Service Pack 1), Windows 7 (Service Pack 1), Windows 8, Mac OS 10.5 or higher.
        • Ethernet Card installed
        • Anti-virus: We provide Sophos Anti-Virus program to our students free of charge. AV software not required on Macintosh systems at this time.


        • NOTE: We require computers to be fully updated at all times. This includes updating Operating Systems, and keeping anti-virus definitions current.
