The Directors of University Residences & Campus Dining work hard with staff and with the Residence Hall Association to provide safe, quality living environments at a reasonable cost to students and their families.
In planning for expenses while living at and attending WOU, the Room & Board Rate sheet will be helpfull in calculating the cost of your specific room & board choices. All rates include telephone access/voice mail, dataline access, cable tv, and $20 social activity fee/term.
Please Note: Housing assignments are made according to the date the completed application is received and the total number of applications received. Not all hall requests can be accommodated. The University reserves the right to make reassignments at any time based on the administrative needs of the residential program.
If you have already applied for Admission to Western Oregon University, and ONLY need to apply for on campus housing, you may download the current housing application (in pdf format below).
Complete the application and send it in with a check or money order for the $40.00 housing application fee (or contact University Housing, 503-838-8311, 1-877-877-1593 (toll-free) with credit card information and we will process payment for you in that way).
Alternatively, you may want to request to have a paper application sent to you - use the link below. The same payment procedure regarding the housing application fee will apply.
If you are a current resident, you will choose your housing assignment for the next year through our Re-Contracting Process during Spring Term. DO NOT complete these applications to apply for your housing next year.
