Editor's Note

It has been my pleasure this year to be the Editor-in-Chief for the Northwest Passage. Not only have I learned a lot, but I have had the opportunity to work with some amazing people. This job has helped to consolidate my love of the arts, as I have repeatedly seen and read the awe inspiring works that have been submitted thus far.

I cannot encourage you enough to submit your work. Each time I see something one of my fellow students has created, I am truly humbled. Each piece is brilliant in its own way, even if it does not make it into the magazine. I am truly honored to be a part of the Passage and to be a student here at WOU.

I have worked hard to help this magazine grow and it is my hope that it will continue to do so throughout the years. This is a Western tradition dating back 71 years and I hope that it will continue to be published for at least 71 more.
