Applicants much be enrolled in an interpreter education program and demonstrate skill in transliterating and interpreting (ASL to ENG & ENG to ASL).
Applicants must be organized, flexible, personable, able to work with a variety of personalities, resourceful, and professional in both dress and demeanor. Interns will be exposed to the following:
Internships take place Spring Term every year for 10 weeks (typically starting the end of March). Check the academic calendar to see start date for Spring Term. (have a link to the calendar or a calendar on screen that is automatically updated yearly)
Once the Office of Disability Services (ODS) receives your application items, an ODS staff member will contact you to schedule an interview.
