Western Oregon University's Campus Against Sexual Assault project is funded through a 3-year grant from the U.S. Department of Justice Office on Violence Against Women.

The WOU CASA project goals

1. To provide a safe, respectful campus environment for all students, faculty and staff

2. To expand the victim assistance services and resources available to WOU students.

3. To increase campus and community awareness and understanding about rape myths, sexual assault on college campuses, the link between alcohol consumption and date rape, myths about intimate partner violence, and what each person can do to prevent violence.
