Term-By-Term Steps to Graduate

Two Terms Before Your Graduation Term

Friday, Week 2 of the term: Apply to graduate no later than Friday of week two.

Contact your faculty advisor to schedule a meeting during week 6 of the term to review your DegreeWorks audit and plan your registration for the next term so that you remain on track to graduate. Confirm that you will be ready to apply to graduate in the following term.

Students that have completed a degree Summer 2016, Fall 2016, or Winter 2017 or that are pending award of their degree in Spring 2017 may attend the 2017 Commencement ceremony.

Undergraduates pending graduation for Summer or Fall 2017 that are within 12 credits of completing their degree may also participate in the ceremony.

Students that have not yet had their degree awarded should be aware that participation in the Commencement ceremony does not mean you have been awarded your degree. Please be sure to follow through with all remaining requirements after Commencement.

The Term Before You Graduate

Week 6: The Registrar’s Office will send you a letter & email to confirm if you are projected to be able to graduate at the end of the NEXT TERM. If it says you will not graduate in the next term, see your faculty advisor IMMEDIATELY. Responses to letters are due by the Friday of Week 8.

Week 1 thru Week 8 of Spring term: Register online to attend the Commencement Ceremony. The last date to officially register is Friday, May 26, 2017.
