Dates for Academic Year 2013/14

Western Oregon University operates on the quarter system and has three terms during the academic year: Fall, Winter, and Spring. The dates in the chart below are the beginning and ending dates of classes for each term. Typically, you will arrive two weeks prior to the beginning of the term to participate in orientation and other activities. A complete calendar is included in the Resource Guide for Exchange Students.

Office of International Students and Scholars Affairs

This office works in partnership with the Office of Study Abroad and International Exchanges and provides comprehensive student services for international exchange students:

• process applications for admission
• notify students of acceptance
• generate immigration documents for visa application
• provide pre-arrival information
• provide comprehensive arrival orientation
