Getting Started with Study Abroad Group Advising Sessions
Your first step to studying abroad starts now! Attend a required group advising session, APSC 301 (Writing Center Classroom), 12 noon Wednesdays.
Every Western Oregon University student who studies abroad completes a study abroad capstone project. The purpose of the project is to prepare students for success abroad, to enhance their cultural observation skills, to facilitate their reflection on the impact of the study abroad experience once they return, and to assist them in articulating why the experience mattered.
Students may access the capstone syllabus and the assignment handouts using the links below.
Digital Storytelling assignment (You will receive the chapters from the Digital Storytelling Cookbook to which I refer in this handout when you attend the re-entry session on your return.)
