Getting Started with Study Abroad Group Advising Sessions
Your first step to studying abroad starts now! Attend a required group advising session, APSC 301 (Writing Center Classroom), 12 noon Wednesdays.
In 2000 the U.S. departments of State and Education established International Education Week (IEW). Today more than 85 countries worldwide observe IEW. It is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange and to encourage the development of programs that prepare U.S. Americans to live and work in a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study in the U.S.
Each year, WOU’s Office of Study Abroad and International Exchanges, Office of International Students and Scholars Affairs, and the International Education and Services Committee work with campus divisions, departments, and organizations to develop a week of interesting and stimulating events.
