To “bridge the gap” between high school and college by providing exposure and orientation to the campus environment; to educate students about campus and community resources; and to assist students in building skills that will support them to degree completion.
If selected, students will receive at no cost
Two graded college credits for participating in the Summer Bridge Program
Early move-in to your assigned residence hall room
Residential living, dining, and entertainment
Exposure to campus and community resources
Workshops & activities designed to prepare you for success at WOU such as:
• Writing your first college paper
• Budgeting and personal finances
• Panel programs with current SEP students on transitioning into college life
• Social events and community service
• Additional workshop s by WOU professional staff and faculty
• Initial intake and academic advisement appointments
