We do not have a deadline. You may apply anytime of the year.

What if I only meet one of the eligibility requirements?

Apply! Each application goes though a review process to determine eligibility and need.

Do I have to be admitted to WOU before I apply for SEP?

No, you may apply anytime.

I'm a transfer student. Can I apply?

Yes!

How long does it take to get a decision about my acceptance?

Our program is limited to the amount of students we can serve. We may put you on a wait list if we are at capacity.

I'm accepted! What do I have to do?

Set up an appointment with your advisor for an intake meeting by calling our main office line at 503-838-8550.

What happens if I'm put on the wait list?

We will notify you if we have an opening. Don't forget to check in and let us know you are still interested.

Do I have to take an SEP Fall Block Schedule ?

Yes, incoming freshman who are admitted to the SEP program are required to take an SEP Block. We do this to help you connect with other SEP students and take our SEP classes.

Do I have to take SEP classes?

Yes and No

Yes- if you are a 1st year freshman. You are required to take 2 SEP courses within your first 2 years at WOU.

No- if you are a transfer student
