Technology Resource Center
Located in the northwest corner of the first floor of Hamersly Library, the Technology Resource Center offers students, faculty, and staff an array of specialized equipment in a comfortable and friendly environment -- whether for digital video or audio production, desktop design, website creation, media conversion, scanning, or CD/DVD duplication. All equipment is available for self-service all the hours the library is open.
We also offer a bookable Digital Production Room (HL 122), as well as drop-in technology tutoring hours for people who need help with technology-related class assignments. (Please see Computing Services for technical support.) Faculty and staff needing technology training may also wish to contact Scott Carter, the library's instructional technologist, who can help give instructors confidence integrating technology in the learning environment. In addition to overseeing the TRC, Scott provides one-on-one and group training on a variety of topics, including Web pages, digital video, and desktop design.
Please Note: Equipment checkout is now handled at the front checkout desk of Hamersly Library.
Location: HL 124
Please see the library's hours. All equipment is available for self-service use during the library's open hours.
Need pointers on creating a movie with iMovie? Tips on designing a website with Dreamweaver? Advice on configuring an Excel chart? Stop by during drop-in technology tutoring hours when a Student Technology Assistant is available to answer your questions. Help may be available during other hours the library is open, but the TRC makes every effort to have help on hand during the scheduled drop-in hours listed below.
