- Acceptable File Formats:
- Excel, HTML, Word or Power Point documents
- PDF or TIF images

Database entries and results lists: For articles within WOU's subscription databases, provide a complete citation, including the database name. Most databases have an email feature; send to firstname.lastname@example.org and provide the necessary information from the reserve request form (above) in the comments box. eReserves can link to a pre-arranged database search, displaying multiple database records. Or, with some databases, eReserves can link to a discrete section, page, video clip, music track, etc., in order to focus within a large work. Please discuss the your needs with library staff.
Web sites: Provide the URL, title and a citation for the site if available.
Provide original materials or call numbers Materials that you own or materials that are owned by the library can be scanned for use as eReserves. Bring original materials to the library Checkout Desk or email us the name and call number of library materials for reserve.
Provide sharp photocopies of book chapters, articles, notes, or solutions to be scanned and placed on eReserve. Black edges on photocopies should be minimized whenever possible. Include the source citation on each article. Original copies may also be placed in file folders and made available for checkout on request. Mail or bring photocopies to the library Checkout Desk.
Hard-copy reserve materials:
Materials from Hamersly Library's collection: Provide the title and call number. Items acquired through Summit or Interlibrary Loan are not eligible to be on hard-copy reserve.
Personally-owned items: Bring materials to the Checkout Desk. Items must be legitimate copies, either commercially produced or something to which you have copyright.
Photocopies: Book chapters, articles, notes, or solutions. Consider or discuss with library staff whether eReserves is a better option. If photocopies are necessary, include the source citation on each article or chapter. Mail or bring photocopies to the library Checkout Desk.
