ARBOR PARK ARPARTMENTS Arbor Park
CONSTRUCTION DATES: Arbor Park is the newest residence hall on the campus of Western Oregon. Arbor Park was completed and ready for occupancy in August of 2002.
REMODEL: Arbor Park Apartments has not had any significant remodel as of 2004.
CONSTRUCTION COMPANY: Walsh Construction Company oversaw the building of Arbor Park Apartments.
COSTS: The final bill for Arbor Park Apartments totaled over $8,000,000 when construction was completed.
BUILDING STYLE: Arbor Park was designed Mahlum Architects of Portland in a townhouse/apartment style with independent buildings. Arbor Park is stylistically unlike any other dormitory building on the campus.
CURRENT USES: Arbor Park Apartments consists of four separate buildings. Cedar, Noble, and Spruce Hall providing living quarters for Arbor Park, and the Residential Service Center provides student mailboxes, computer labs, and a fitness area.
HISTORY: Arbor Park Apartments were built as a student residence hall.
OTHER INTERESTING FACTS: Arbor Park is the newest dormitory and the only one to provide private bedrooms.
