Love around the World: Gifts and Treats Bake Sale 2011

Date: February, Thursday the 10th, Friday the 11th and Monday the 14th from 10am-3pm in the Werner University Center

The International Club will have a booth in the Werner University Center for a Valentines treat and gift sale!

We will be selling cute baggies filled with four different kinds of chocolates from around the world and an international love message.

Chocolate Types:

• Mexican Chocolate Truffles: An exotic coffee and cinnamon taste.
• German Chocolate Cake Balls: Chocolate cake with coconut and pecans coated in chocolate.
• Tropical Coconut Balls: Sweet coconut just like from the islands.
• Cardamom Chocolate Truffles: Cardamom is a spice used in many Middle Eastern dishes and sweets.

We will also be selling Valentines presents such as:

• Handmade origami earrings
• Fabric flowers
• Cards with an international love message
• Picture frames
• Cultural artifacts
• Pair bracelets
• Key chains
• Heart stickers
• Post cards and more!

Chinese Spring Festival Fundraiser 2011

Date: Wednesday, February 2nd and Thursday, February 3rd

Time: 10am-3pm

The International Club and the Chinese Students and Scholars Club will have a booth in the Werner University Center to sell gifts and tickets for the Chinese Spring Festival! The Chinese Spring Festival is on Friday, February 4th at 6pm in the Pacific Room

We will be selling:

• Tickets for the Chinese Spring Festival
• Chinese New Year Cards
• New Year and Year of the Rabbit Stickers
• Handmade Origami earrings
• Handmade Fabric Flowers
• Chinese Goods (purses, lipstick cases, scarves, chopsticks, etc.

Cost:

$ 7 General Admission

$ 5 with WOU students or staff ID card

(Seniors above 65 years & Children under 10 years Free)

Brilliant performances presented by WOU Chinese students & Portland Chinese performance group including singing, dancing and comedy!
