Health Care Interpreting Continuing Education Opportunities

Starting in March 2013, we will be offering continuing education classes specially designed for health care interpreters. These classes will be offered online and in-person at locations throughout Oregon.

Initially, we plan to offer continuing ed classes on:

• Ethics and Legal Issues
• The Business of Interpreting (for freelance interpreters)
• Palliative Care terminology & techniques.

We will be posting the March 2013 continuing education schedule later this year. New clases will be held each quarter once we start offering CE classes in 2013, new classes will be held each quarter. Check back in November or early-December to learn more about these classes as well as locations and fees.

Customized Continuing Education Classes Available

We are always willing to create custom continuing education classes if our scheduled classes don't meet your organization's training needs.
