Faculty Development Workshops

The Division of Extended Programs is proud to announce a series of regular academic technology, pedagogy, and course development workshops and roundtable discussions for faculty and staff. No registration required! Walk-in to any sessions that interest you and join the conversation.

Regularly scheduled CTL events generally adhere to the following format:

CTL Roundtable - 1st Friday of Every Month at 8:30am
Join us for a loosely structured open conversation about current trends in education as well as news and updates about the Center for Teaching and Learning.  A light breakfast (e.g. bagels and coffee) will be served.

Guest Presenters - 1st Wednesday and Thursday @ 2:30
WOU faculty and staff will share their expertise on a variety of topics.

Pedagogy and Instructional Design Workshops - 2nd and 4th Wednesday and Thursday @ 2:30
Explore a range of issues related to emerging pedagogies and principles of good course design. Hosted by Dan Clark.

Monthly Moodle Chats - 3rd Wednesday and Thursday @ 2:30
Stay up to date on the latest Moodle strategies and techniques with this brief "tip(s) of the month" presentation followed by an open Q&A session. Hosted by Elayne Kuletz.

Additional workshops and eventswill be added, so check back often.
