What kind of credit is this?

University quarter hour credits are awarded at both the undergraduate (numbered 100 - 499) or the graduate level (numbered (500 - 699). Depending on your advisor and your program of study, these credits at some Universities might apply as electives, or substitute for required courses. Please contact your college advisor prior to registering for the class to determine how these credits may apply to your course of study. In addition, credit is granted for professional development classes (numbered 800 - 899). These credits are not designed to be part of a degree program, but are focused on narrow topics to advance in professional knowledge.

Quarter or Semester credits?

WOU only offers credits based on the quarter system. The conversion is 3 quarter = 2 semester credits.
