Criminal Justice Newsletter
There are two parts to the application process. Students must first be admitted to Western Oregon University before beginning the CJ online program. They must also apply to the Criminal Justice program within the first two terms as a WOU student.
Students applying to the Criminal Justice program must satisfy the following:
If you do not meet all of these requirements, you may petition for a waiver. The petition must be made in writing and explain why you believe you should not be held to the above standards.
To be admitted to Western Oregon University, please submit the Undergraduate Admissions Applications
To be admitted into the Criminal Justice Program, please complete and submit the Criminal Justice Program Application and the following items to the address below.
Transcripts from all colleges/universities you have ever attended (unofficial are ok)

If you need more information regarding how your previous coursework may transfer to WOU, we’d be happy to do a transcript evaluation for you. Send an unofficial copy of your transcripts to extend@wou.edu, fax to 503-838-8473, or mail to Extended Programs at our address below. Please indicate that you are requesting a transcript evaluation for the Criminal Justice program when you provide your transcripts.
