Technology Resource Center TRC Room Picture

The Technology Resource Center supports the mission of the university, providing technology training and services in support of instruction and learning.

Need help with technology?  Whether you're taking a fully online class or a face-to-face course, there is a place on campus where you can get assistance with a wide variety of technology issues -- scanning documents, help with programs like Excel and PowerPoint, creating digital videos with iMovie, assistance with Moodle and other online course materials, and much more.  It's called the Technology Resource Center.

Two full-time staff members, as well as trained student workers, are available to help students, faculty, and staff on a drop-in or scheduled appointment basis.  The TRC is also an open lab for your use, with lots of specialized equipment you won't find elsewhere on campus, including:

  • A high-speed CD/DVD duplicator
  • Duplication stations for transferring material from cassette to CD, VHS to DVD, and other formats
  • A 11" by 17" scanner
  • Camcorders, digital cameras, and other equipment available for short-term checkout
  • Digital taping rooms for doing interviews and other projects that require a quiet, dedicated environment
  • Lamination
  • Large format printing

Projects must be academically related.  Prices may be charged to recover the costs of supplies.  Many projects may require staff help as well as a lead time of up to a week.
