The final project for all FYE classes is an opportunity for the students to share the experience they have had in their course with the students enrolled in other themes. This event is called the FYE Symposium and is held as an evening event that draws attendees from a variety of departments on campus. This event allows students to socialize with peers, eat some great food and meet the campus administration (i.e. the Deans, the President, the Provost).
In a partnership with Hamersly Library, First Year Experience was able to archive projects from last year’s Symposium. To see examples of projects, go to the University’s Digital Repository located at http://digitalcommons.wou.edu/fye/
