WOU Giving Day is Western Oregon’s first-ever university-wide day of giving. It coincides with Giving Tuesday, a national day of giving on the Tuesday immediately following the Thanksgiving weekend. It’s a day for everyone who loves and is a part of WOU to join together to invest in students, and make great things happen at WOU.
WOU Giving Day will take place on December 2, 2014. On this day, from midnight through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Standard Time, you can make a donation to the area of your choice at the university. Gifts of every size will make a difference! The goal is to raise as much financial support as possible for students and programs here at Western Oregon University in one day.
This is a perfect opportunity to make your year-end contribution and help students at the same time. Participating in WOU Giving Day, you’ll join alumni, students, faculty, staff, friends and family from around the world to create an enormous impact on the current and future success of Western Oregon University.

The main areas of responsibility for the office are alumni relations, fundraising, corporate and foundation development, community relations, fundraising from private foundations, legislative affairs, and planned giving.
