survey The library is conducting a survey on the use and quality of library services, collections, and facilities. The results will help us make improvements and ensure we’re meeting the needs of the WOU community.
It should only take you 10 minutes to complete PLUS you’ll be eligible to enter a drawing for a $25 gift card to use at The Press!
There are four different versions of the survey. Please choose the one that’s appropriate for you:
Drop-in tutoring in the library starts this week. Hours for each subject vary, see below:
–> The Writing Center holds night hours Sun-Thurs from 7-10pm in Room 116. Writing tutors will work with you on writing projects for any course and any instruction level.
–> The English Tutoring Center holds night hours Mon-Thurs from 7-10pm in Room 228. Tutors can help international students with reading, listening to, and/or speaking English.
–> The Digital Media Center, located on the 2nd floor, offers help with technology-related class assignments. Hours this term: Mon, Tues, Thurs, & Fri 9am-1pm.
Have you ever wished the library would just text you when the items you order through Summit or interlibrary loan are ready to pick up? If so, you’re in luck because now we can! To sign up for texts from Hamersly:
1. Log in to your account in Primo
2. Click on My Account–>Personal Settings–>Edit Details
3. Select the checkbox next to the ‘SMS Wanted’ field and enter your phone number in the ‘SMS Number’ field.
4. Click Update, and that’s it! You will now get text notifications from the library. If you ever want to stop getting texts, just follow the same process and uncheck the box.
