International Studies major

The International Studies major introduces students to important concepts and issues in world affairs. Students will acquire advanced language skills and knowledge of geopolitics, history, and culture. Participation in study abroad, a global internship, or field study in a variety of field research prepares the student for an international career. This major is also excellent preparation for graduate study in a variety of fields that emphasize language, geopolitics, history and culture.

Environmental Studies

The Environmental Studies program offers an interdisciplinary approach for understanding the relationship between humans and the natural environment. It provides academic breadth, specific areas of expertise, and technical skills. The program supports an extensive internship program and is committed to the professional development of its students who seek employment in environmentally related fields such as resource management, environmental assessment, land-use planning, public administration, and teaching.
