Scholarships

R.S. Baker Memorial Scholarship

Recipients shall be undergraduate students and selection shall be based on the following criteria.

• Age 24 or older
• Have a declared major in the Humanities
• Have an earned grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher
• Recipients must meet the University criteria for needing financial aid.

David and Dennis Eddings Scholarship in Literature

Recipients shall be undergraduate students and selection shall be based on the following criteria.

• Be a prospective or current full-time student of Western Oregon University
• Have a declared major in Literature or Language Arts
• Have an earned grade point average (GPA) in the major of 3.5 or higher
• Have academic standing of sophomore or higher
• Recipients must meet the University criteria needing financial aid.
