Foundations

The Foundation courses in Art introduce students to the elements and principles of drawing, design, color theory and digital presentation. The application of these concepts, through a variety of media, will enhance both self-expression and communication skills while building technical ability, craft, and a disciplined work ethic.

Beyond the formal organization of the physical world, students gain capacity in lateral thinking, creative problem solving, critical analysis and observational skills that will enhance success in other academic disciplines and future professional endeavors.
