Professional:

I started my career in health working in various doctor’s offices and a local hospital. After working for many years educating patients and family members on the importance of living independently with low vision needs, I decided to pursue a degree in health promotion and education. After receiving my bachelors from Oregon State University and discovering that health education was my passion, I then received my Masters of Arts in Teaching from Western Oregon University and began my career as an instructor. I truly feel that I have found a career that I love and can wholehearted embrace. As a native Oregonian, it makes it even better that I have found a home at WOU where everyday, I not only get to teach, but learn.
