Professional: Kathy began her career in Michigan teaching elementary physical education and coaching/officiating various sports at the middle and high school levels. She was an instructor at Grand Valley State University prior to relocating to Oregon. Kathy's teaching strengths and interests focus on youth fitness/elementary physical education, best practices in coaching, and outdoor education. Outside of the classroom Kathy enjoys skiing, hiking, paddling, cycling, and traveling, all with her family, friends, and dog.
