WOU's Interpreting Studies faculty have crafted a Master's degree for interpreters who have a bachelor's degree, are ready to enter the field, and want or need structured supervision to make the leap into the professional world. This 45-credit MA in Interpreting Studies: Entry-Level program includes 18 credits of supervised internship (that can happen in conjunction with paid work), and additional coursework to continue honing and developing skills to confidently launch into interpreting as a career path. If you are ready to apply, here is the link with all the necessary information. www.wou.edu/graduate/ma-interpreting-studies/application-requirements/ If you have questions specific to your circumstances, please contact Interpreting Studies Program Coordinator, Dr. Elisa Maroney at maronee@wou.edu. Please know that while this degree is primarily online (exclusively online during the academic year), we do have on-campus residency requirements each summer.
