WOU Receives New Education Building!

In 2015 WOU received a generous $1.4 million dollar gift to create the Richard Woodcock Education Center, or RWEC.  This amazing opportunity will allow all faculty and staff of the three academic divisions to collaborate together in the same building for the first time in COE history. Students will begin classes in the state-of-the-art classrooms and learning labs Summer of 2016.  Find out more about the College of Education's new building here, or visit the live construction webcam below.

COE News

Over the next three days at Western Oregon University we are combining over 15 classrooms, 90 + faculty, 15 staff and 4 administrative departments from across campus into one great big brand new College of Education building; the Richard Woodcock Education Center. We ask that the public and our campus community be understanding of the managed chaos this is going to entail. This is a massive task being accomplished by the efforts of countless campus departments and hired contractors.

Please - give us this week to put our new home in order before having to receive visitors. Phones, email and computers will be in transition for several days, and responses will be slow. We look forward to showing you all our new home.... NEXT WEEK!
