“GRAVEYARD EXPLORATIONS” PROGRAM
TO BE HELD AT HERITAGE CENTER

“Graveyard Explorations” will be the topic of an Arti-Facts! program for children on Sunday, Sept. 10, at Western Carolina University's Mountain Heritage Center.

Peter Koch, a member of the museum staff, will lead the program from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Accompanied by their parents, children will have an opportunity to investigate a local graveyard to learn about burial customs and the stories represented by each headstone.

Arti-Facts! programs explore the region's natural and cultural heritage. Attendance is free, but registration is required. For more information or to register, call the museum at (828) 227-7129.
