Rated 5 out of 5★ by Data356 Nice bang for the buck! Machine has been flawless from the start. Not sure why there are complaints about the feeble power supply. Read the specs before buying! This is not supposed to be a powerhouse, rather a nice quiet stable box. Mine came with the ATI Radeon HD 2400 Pro, 2 hard drives, DVD burner, DVD reader, 4gig memory and two 24" panels. No power problems even when I have added on all my perifs. DVD burner has worked great, same with the DVD ROM.

Rated 4 out of 5★ by ForgotMyName Dell Optiplex 755 DT My Dell 8400 bit the big one so I need a basic replacement in a hurry and Walmart had these on for less than $200. It is a business machine and has some drawbacks.1. The DT case on this model pretty much only accepts half hight cards. This didn't alow me to use any of the cards I had in my old 8400.2. This unit has only a single hard drive, an optical drive and one empty drive slot for a card ready, floppy drive or what ever and it is a small area to work in. To access the extra drive opening you must remove the optical drive first. No biggie as no tools are needed but it is still not very open.3. The unit only came with 2 GB of ram and is only expandable to 4 GB as this system came with Windows 7 32 bit. The store ad said it was expandable to 8 GB but that is only due to the Windows 7 32 bit limit. If you opt for the Win7 64 bit OS you can expland to 8 GB.4. Absolutely NO additional documentation comes with the unit other than a brief setup page. If you want to know more you have to dig it out of the web and download it in PDF format.5. It does come with a Windows 7 Home Premium disk "for refurbished PC's" which means if you want to install a larger hard drive your going to have to use a program that will allow you to do that without calling Microsoft for a new product activation code.I upgraded to 4 GB if memory via ebay for less than $60 and it works just fine. If your planning on using this machine for gaming (I'm not a gamer) your going to have to add a faster video card as the Windows Experience Index on this is 3.3 with the slow video being the limiting factor.Still, it is a very good buy in my experience keeping in mind that the first computer I bought after my Apple IIc had a single 120MB hard drive and cost me $2400.One other aside... I'm a person that is particular about his keyboard feel and didn't like the one that came with this as the Backspace key is the same size as a "regular" key and the soft touch (to me) feel of the keyboard is unplesent. I was going to use my old Dell PS-2 keyboard but it will not work with this unit even with a PS-2/USB adapter.Still for the money, it does what I wanted it to (with my upgrades) and I think it is still an excellent computer for the money.

Rated 5 out of 5★ by DoubleGold Easy Breezy Windows 8.1 gives users the option of switching back to Windows 7. Rather than spend $800 for a new computer, I thought I would give this refurbished 755 a try. So far, so good. It arrived quickly; was well packaged; clean, looked brand new. Set up was a breeze. My printer works on it, which was a plus. As soon as I registered with Microsoft, I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials. Everything went well with only a couple of minor glitches that any novice could overcome easily. If your 25 character validation code doesn't work the first time, keep trying. It took a couple of times for Microsoft to respond. Don't be confused by the "not genuine Windows 7" message. Try again. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking to save a few hundred dollars. Note: Prior to purchasing this computer, I was running Windows XP. With support ending next month, I needed to switch OS. Windows 8 reviews are discouraging at best. This purchase was an inexpensive way to upgrade from Windows XP.
