You can have a complete entertainment center to enjoy in the comfort of your home with home audio and theater products from Walmart.
In setting up your home entertainment center, you'll first want to consider what type of media you like to watch and listen to. If you mainly watch DVDs, a standard DVD player may be a good fit. But if you want to be able to play old VHS tapes, you may want to choose a DVD/VHS player. And if you have an HDTV, it might be worth getting a Blu-ray player for the enhanced HD experience. It's also worth considering a media streaming player if you like to stream video from sites like VUDU, Netflix and Hulu to watch on your TV.
DVD players also play CDs, and media streaming players will stream music as well as video. But if you listen to a lot of music on CDs, you might want a dedicated CD player, and you'll need a turntable if you listen to LPs.
For both theater and music, your speaker system is all-important. Sound bars and sound bases have fewer wires than big speaker sets, and some can deliver full 5.1 surround sound, so they're great for enhancing your home entertainment center without too much clutter.
